News: Mission Partners with Rookies of '79

The Rookies of '79 is proud to announce a multi-year agreement with AFT headline sponsor Mission.

Mission has signed a two year agreement for 2022 and 2023 to provide funding to the Rookies of '79 charity to be put towards the charity's mission of providing funds to injured flat track athletes through fundraising efforts at AFT events and select regional flat track events. A special thanks goes out to Mr. Juan Gonzales, CEO of Mission Foods, for his support of Rookies and our mission.

In addition, Mission has agreed to provide thousands of items of branded clothing and collectibles, which will be sold through the Rookies tent at events, with all proceeds going into the Rookies' general assistance (for injured riders) fund. A great majority of charity's money is raised through sales and raffles at AFT and regional flat track events throughout the United States. Our success is and always has been by the grace shown through the amazing generosity of the fans of the sport of flat track. Everyone associated with Rookies of '79 is pleased with the support provided by Mission Foods.
