Rookies of '79 and friends
Event Report
Sacramento, CA 09/11/2021 - 09/12/2021
Event details: The Rookies van traveled nearly the full width of the US to reach Sacramento for the famous AFT Sacramento Mile, this year a two day event. In addition, the Rookies of '79 were represented by Charlie and Alan at the Night Before The Mile event at the Lodi Cycle Bowl.
Lance Jones stepped up big again, and was a huge part of our success. He has been a huge asset in 2021, and Charlie encourages all to acknowledge his selfless gifts of time and effort. His help with driving, labor, marketing, and just being there is a valuable asset. He is loved by all and is great for our mission.
A special shout out to Alan Dickson also. Alan is a behind the scenes guy that keeps the charity moving. Check out a cool video that he posted on Facebook at

showing some of the recent travel to New York, Illinois and California in the charity van.
The Lodi team did a 50/50 at the track, and is sending us a check from the Friday ST. Thank you so much and a special shout out to the Lodi Motorcycle Club...$755 to the charity from the 50/50 ! ! ! It was great to see old friends, and make many new friends! Dominic DeMario was there and shared our blessing with the entire group! It was also cool to see Dominic Colindres at the track with his 450 sponsoring Davis Fisher.
Funds raised: $12,513 (including the Lodi 50/50 proceeds to the charity of $755)
Special fundraiser comments: In addition to the merchandise tent, two signed posters were set up for raffle. These were pure collectors items. The posters were signed by Scott Parker and Mert Lawill. Thank you to everyone in attendance and on line that purchased raffle tickets.
